Registration/Pre-Authorization
Staff will need approval of their supervisor to attend the trainings/conference. Staff will send an email to the supervisor informing them of their interest in a specific training/conference that is appealing for their development. A pre-travel authorization form will need to be attached to the email and wait for supervisor’s approval. Staff can visit travel.ucmerced.edu to plan their training/conference attendance.
How to Register
- Identify conference/training of interest.
- Complete a pre-approval authorization form and email supervisor.
- After receiving approval from supervisor, visit the conference/training website. Select the conference/training of interest, then select date and location of attendance. This will prompt to the conference/training registration page.
- Complete payment of conference/training (please ask your supervisor for the appropriate method). Save all receipts related to the conference/training as this will be used to reimburse staff after attendance.
