Goals: To assist in the professional development of staff across the Enrollment Services Division.
Who the trainees are: Enrollment Management Division
Frequency of Training: Twice a year: Taking course one in the fall term and one in the spring/summer term.
Creating a Development Plan: Supervisors will encourage staff to create a plan for their own professional development. Prior to searching for conferences/trainings staff should understand their needs, both professional and personal. This will also serve as a good source of documentation for staffs short term and long-term goals.
Performance Evaluations: Along with the development plan, staff will use performance evaluations as an assessment tool to determine what conferences/trainings will be beneficial to take. Staff goals in performance evaluations are the beginning stage of individual professional development. Staff should select conferences/trainings that are appealing to individual needs and career goals.
Communication Across Enrollment Management Division: A monthly email will be sent to the division regarding upcoming trainings.
