I am originally from Crescent City, CA but have lived in the Central Valley for over 12 years. I attended CSU, Chico where I earned a B.A. in History and an M.A. in Social Science with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration. I am currently enrolled in an Educational Leadership Doctoral program at California, State University Stanislaus. When I can find free time I enjoy being with my family and my dog as well as swimming and traveling. I came to work at UC Merced for the opportunity to build something new and focus on implementing services that meet students ever changing needs. Working at the SFC has given me the opportunity to study customer service and the overall student experience; through this I have worked with a dedicated team of staff to develop a One Stop operation that is designed to provide transformational student support. I truly enjoy being a part of UC Merced and the Students First Center (SFC). I am honored to work with the staff in the SFC; these individuals demonstrate care and ingenuity in every step of their work. I could not ask for a better team!
