I am originally from Crescent City, CA but have lived in the Central Valley for over 8 years.  I attended CSU, Chico were I earned a B.A. in History and a M.A. in Social Science with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration.  I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, wakeboarding, swimming and traveling. I came to work at UC Merced for the opportunity to build something new and focus on implementing services that meet students ever changing needs. Working at the SFC has given me the opportunity to study customer service and the overall student experience; through this I have worked with our team to develop a One Stop operation that is designed to promote self sufficiency and student success.

I was born and raised in Merced then moved to attend college at San Francisco State University. I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Management. On my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and outdoor adventures.  I believe in pursuing higher education. Being part of UC Merced has allowed me to assist students as they reach their educational goals.

Hello everyone, my name is Jennifer Anaya. I was born and raised in beautiful Merced, CA. I am an avid reader, a baseball fan, a world traveler, a Zumba enthusiast, and am currently learning to play the piano.  I graduated with my BA in Economics from UC Merced in May 2015. Throughout my time at UC Merced, I was highly involved in student leadership roles, taking part in the Orientation program as an Orientation Leader and as a Student Coordinator as well as working as a Lead Peer Instructor for Undergraduate Studies 10. I also worked as an Academic Advisor for undeclared students. All of these experiences helped me identify my love for helping students succeed. I feel so blessed to be able to work at this amazing university and give back to our amazing students who make this place truly special.

I was born and raised in Fresno, Ca. I received my B.A. in Business Management from Fresno Pacific University and later earned my Masters in Education with an Emphasis in Organizational Development. Working with Students is a passion of mine and when I’m not doing that I am spending time with my husband, my two beautiful children and my two Maltipoos. I love going to the movies, which includes the drive in during the summer months, I love to get together with family and travel. On a sunny day I can easily be found in Pismo, Monterey or San Francisco. I love basketball and I love watching my kids play any and all sports. I’ve worked over 13 years in Higher Education and what I love the most is helping students achieve their personal educational goals. I had a great team at Fresno Pacific University that helped me navigate my way through my educational process and my goal here at UC Merced is to pay it forward and help students do the same so they can reach the finish line with that cap and gown on.

I made it to the adults table! …Metaphorically speaking of course. I, Natalie, was a student worker with the SFC for about 4 years in total. Despite being born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA I feel like an honorary Merced local. I graduated with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics with an emphasis in Computational Biology from UC Merced in Spring 2016 and accepted a position as an Enrollment Services Advisor shortly thereafter. This year my goal is to expand upon my customer service skills while improving the SFC resources by providing a prospective of a recent graduate. When I am not helping students or studying numerical methods at UC Merced, I enjoy DIY projects, playing softball, tennis or golf and traveling to the corners of this world that I have not yet reached. Come ask me questions about being a UC Merced student – I consider myself an expert.

I was born in Paramount, California but raised right here in Merced, California; watching my hometown grow into a university town has been a wonderful experience, so you can only imagine how excited I am to be a part of it. I am passionately working to graduate with a B.A. in Sociology so that I may continue to contribute to the beautiful, diverse culture easily found on this campus.  In my spare time I enjoy traveling to places I've never seen or simply breaking bread with my hilarious and loving friends. I go to Disneyland as much as possible, enjoy penning prose or poetry, and can be found in a Green Bay Packer jersey on most game days. There are few foods I would not try. I quite enjoy learning. And I strongly believe that staying true to our innate curiosity is the only way to adventure through life.  While I am here my goal is to touch the lives of students, faculty, and staff here at UC Merced with knowledge, light, and understanding. This world is full of possibilities: let's make a change together.
