I've applied...what's next?
If you have recently made any changes to your academic record, please send an email to admissions@ucmerced.edu so that our Admissions Office and make any necessary updates to your application.
If you are having trouble creating your My.UCMerced.edu account, chances are, you entered information incorrectly on your UC application. Please call the Students First Center (209.228.7178) to verify your application information. Curious about whether or not we need any documents from you? Some applications require additional documents, including unofficial transcripts and test scores. If the Office of Admissions requires these documents from you, they will contact you via email. They will also update your checklist with possible requirements. Be sure to utilize MyChecklist, an organized list of all of your UC Merced requirements. You can find MyChecklist on the main page of your MyUCMerced portal.
Is your financial aid squared away for the Fall? Hopefully you've submitted your 2013-2014 FAFSA (application due by March 2nd, 2013) with UC Merced's school code (041271). Beginning in March, the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will send out physical award letters to all new students, listing and explaining each student's individual award package. Please check your Checklist to make sure that we have received (as well as satisfied) all of your financial aid requirements (including verification documents if you were selected for the process).
